Pepper Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. very warm water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    4 1/2 to 5 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    2 eggs
    16 to 24 oz. small curd cottage cheese
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast and sugar in water and set aside.
    Mix in 2 tablespoons coarse black pepper and 2 tablespoons dried chopped onion.
    Beat together eggs, cottage cheese and butter and microwave 1 to 2 minutes until warm.
    Combine yeast mixture with the cheese mixture.
    Add dry ingredients and mix well.
    Dough will be stiff! Knead to form ball on table.
    Cover with a large bowl and let rise until doubled.
    Beat down and let rise again.
    Form loaves on cornmeal dusted cookie sheets; let rise again.
    Just before putting bread in oven, mix 1 egg with 1 tablespoon water and brush on loaves.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
    Cool on wire rack.
