Cracker Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. soda cracker crumbs
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 egg whites, beaten stiff
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. whipping cream
    cherries
Preparation
    Mix the crumbs and baking powder; set aside. Beat the egg whites until stiff, then gradually add the sugar. Fold in the cracker crumbs. Add the vanilla and nuts. Place in paper muffin cups and bake until very light brown at 325\u00b0.
    Be very careful not to overbake. Top with whipped cream and cherries.
