Chili(D'Alessandro'S) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 lb. ground beef
    2/3 c. ketchup
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. celery, chopped
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 to 1 c. tomato juice
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. canned tomatoes, crushed
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans with liquid
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter.
    Add beef and brown lightly; drain off fat.
    Add the rest of ingredients except kidney beans, tomato juice and chili powder.
    Simmer 30 minutes.
    Cool slightly.
    Add remaining 3 ingredients and simmer 1 hour.
    Serves 10 to 12.
