Macaroni 'N Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. macaroni
    1 (10 1/2 or 11 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. grated onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 dash pepper
    1/2 lb. American cheese, grated
Preparation
    Cook macaroni in boiling salted water; drain and rinse. Combine the mushroom soup, milk, onion and seasoning.
    Alternate layers of macaroni, soup and cheese in greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 about 45 minutes.
