Tamale Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white cornmeal
1 c. cold water
2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, minced
2 Tbsp. oil
2 Tbsp. flour
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (16 oz.) can corn, drained
1 c. olives
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 c. shredded cheese
Preparation

Mix corn meal with cold water in bowl.
Add to boiling water in saucepan.
Cook for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add salt and margarine; mix well.
Remove from heat.
Cool.
Press into baking dish.
