Ingredients

1 (17 1/4 oz.) pkg. frozen puff pastry
6 to 8 apples, sliced thinly
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. finely chopped nuts
5 Tbsp. melted butter
6 Tbsp. bread crumbs or cookie crumbs
1 to 2 beaten egg yolks
Preparation

Thaw puff pastry for 20 minutes.
Combine apples, raisins, cinnamon, sugar, nuts and crumbs.
Unfold and roll out each pastry square to 13 x 10-inch rectangle.
Place half the apple mixture along center line of pastry (lengthwise).
Brush edges with beaten egg yolks.
Fold dough over filling, pressing edges together to seal.
Place seam-side down on greased rimmed baking sheet. Repeat with remaining pastry.
Brush tops with egg yolks.
