Lyndon B. Johnson'S Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. canned sweet potatoes
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. milk
    1 c. butter, divided
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Drain potatoes very well and mash.
    Add sugar, eggs, milk, 1/2 cup butter, coconut, vanilla and nutmeg.
    Pour into a greased 9 x 12-inch casserole.
    Combine brown sugar, flour, remaining 1/2 cup butter and nuts.
    Sprinkle over mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
