Perfect Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter (not margarine)
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cream
    6 eggs
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Add sugar to butter gradually and cream together.
    Add eggs, one at a time, then add cream.
    Add flour gradually, then add vanilla.
    Pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan.
    Drop pan to remove any bubbles.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour until brown and springy.
    Freezes well.
