Green Tomato Mincemeat For Pie Filling(Low Calorie!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. green tomatoes
    5 lb. apples
    2 lb. raisins
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. cloves
    5 lb. sugar
Preparation
    Chop tomatoes fine.
    Sprinkle 1 tablespoon salt over them and let stand 1/2 hour.
    Drain.
    Add chopped apples and raisins.
    Cook until done.
    (Tomatoes, apples and raisins may be ground in a meat grinder or chopped in a blender.) Add vinegar, cinnamon, cloves and sugar before cooking.
