Old Style Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted white flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
5 eggs
2 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Grease bottom of loaf pan and lightly flour.
Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Gradually add sugar, beating all the time.
Add to flour mixture, then add lemon juice.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
