Never Fail Pastry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. soft butter
2/3 c. soft shortening (Crisco)
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. granulated sugar
3 1/3 c. sifted flour
1/3 c. cold water
Preparation

In large bowl with fork, beat butter and sugar until creamy, then blend this mixture with soft shortening.
Combine flour and salt with fork; blend with butter mixture.
Gradually stir in water until mixture cleans sides of bowl.
On lightly floured surface, knead dough until just well mixed.
Chill.
Divide into thirds and roll out crusts.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
