German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon
    3/4 c. finely chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    3/4 c. water
    4 medium (or more) potatoes, cooked, peeled and sliced
Preparation
    In
    1
    quart casserole, heat bacon until crisp.
    Remove bacon; crumble; set aside.
    Add onion to bacon drippings; heat until onions are transparent.
    Stir in flour, sugar, salt and celery and
    heat;\tstir
    in
    water
    and
    vinegar.\tCook until mixture boils.
    Add
    potatoes
    and\tbacon, stirring gently to coat with sauce.
    Makes 4 servings.
