Big Soft Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    3/4 c. margarine or butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. molasses
Preparation
    Combine flour, soda, salt and spices.
    Set aside.
    In large mixing bowl, beat margarine with electric mixer on low speed to soften.
    Gradually add 1 cup sugar, beating until fluffy.
    Add egg and molasses, beating well.
    Stir in dry ingredients.
