Rice Consomme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 large onion
    1 large can mushrooms
    2 c. long grain rice
    3 cans beef consomme
    1 can water
    2 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter.
    Add rice and mushrooms; simmer for 20 minutes.
    Add consomme, water and oregano; stir until well blended.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 1 hour (covered).
