Floreeta'S Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    5 c. plain flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. shortening (prefer Crisco)
    2 c. buttermilk
    melted butter
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1/3 cup lukewarm water.
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Cut into shortening.
    Add buttermilk and yeast to dry ingredients (batter will not be stiff).
    Let stand at room temperature about 20 minutes.
    At this point, batter may be refrigerated for several days.
