Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. whole fresh or frozen cranberries
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 can crushed pineapple, do not drain
    1 large box cherry jello
    1 large tart apple, chopped
    1 c. pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Bring cranberries and water to a boil.
    Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
    Allow to cool. add sugar and jello.
    Mix well. Add the apple, pineapple and nuts,
    mix well. Pour into mold and refrigerate until set or overnight.
