Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. white corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. corn meal
    1 c. white sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Line a 9-inch pan with pastry 1/8 inch thick.
    Combine ingredients, adding pecans last.
    Pour into pastry shell.
    Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and bake for 30 to 35 minutes longer or until a silver knife inserted in center of filling comes out clear.
