Peanut Crisp Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light Karo syrup
dash of salt
1 c. peanut butter
2 c. Rice Krispies
4 Tbsp. oleo
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

Combine sugar, Karo and salt. Cook and stir until sugar is dissolved. Blend in peanut butter. Stir in cereal.
Pat evenly in a foil lined pan.
In small pan, melt oleo and brown sugar. Remove from fire. Add milk and vanilla. Beat in powdered sugar until smooth. Remove cookie mixture from pan.
Peel off foil and spread top with icing.
Chill and cut in small bars.
