Mei Ling'S Hawaiian Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. barbecue sauce
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 c. cut up, cooked chicken
    1 large (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
    1 can sliced water chestnuts
    1 tsp. chopped candied ginger or regular ground ginger
    cooked rice
    toasted almonds or Macadamia nuts
Preparation
    Combine sauce, juice, sugar, oil, flour and salt; mix well. Pour into skillet.
    Cook, stirring, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens slightly.
    Add chicken, pineapple, water chestnuts and ginger.
    Cover; simmer for 10 minutes.
    Serve over rice. Sprinkle with nuts.
    Serves 6 to 8.
