Ingredients

1/4 c. oleo (Crisco)
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. soda
1 c. plain flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream oleo and peanut butter.
Add both brown and white sugars.
Cream until light and creamy.
Add unbeaten egg and beat well.
Add flour which has been sifted with soda.
Add vanilla and 1 cup chopped nuts, if desired.
Roll 1/2 teaspoon in hand to form small ball.
Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
Press flat with fork.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
