1 box chocolate cake mix
2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. milk
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 Tbsp. flour
1 c. black walnut meats
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. butter
1 container chocolate frosting
Preparation

Place sugar, milk, egg yolks, flour and butter in double boiler.
Cook until custard forms.
After custard cools, add nuts and vanilla.
Spread between layers.
Cover with chocolate frosting.
