Sweet Onion Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 pkg. corn bread mix
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Preparation

Cook onion in butter until tender and clear.
Prepare mix according to package directions.
Pour into greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Sprinkle with cooked onion.
Mix sour cream and cheese; spoon over the top.
Bake in hot (400\u00b0) oven for 25 minutes or until done.
Let stand a few minutes before cutting.
