Broccoli And Cheddar Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. chopped broccoli
    2 c. chicken broth or 2 c. water plus 2 bouillon cubes
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. light cream
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch or flour
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In large saucepan, cook broccoli until soft; drain.
    In small pan, saute onion in margarine.
    Add cornstarch and slowly add broth and cream.
    Stir and cook until thickens.
    Add salt, nutmeg and broccoli.
    Just before serving, stir in cheese.
