Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. kraut, drained
    1 c. chopped carrots
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Bring to a boil the sugar, oil, vinegar and salt.
    Add remaining ingredients and let stand 12 to 24 hours in refrigerator.
    Will keep for days.
