Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla flavor
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. flour
Preparation

Thoroughly cream shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
Stir in peanut butter.
Sift dry ingredients and stir into creamed mixture.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Press with back of floured fork to make crisscross.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
Makes about 5 dozen.
