Chicken A La King(Low-Fat) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. margarine
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 c. skim milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
3 (4 oz.) skinned and boned chicken breast halves, cut in bite size pieces
1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimento, drained
4 slices wheat bread, trimmed and toasted
1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. frozen English peas, thawed
1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Melt margarine in a large, nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and onion; cook, stirring constantly, 3 to 5 minutes, or until chicken is browned.
Add mushrooms; cook 1 minute.
Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Gradually add milk and next 4 ingredients.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened and bubbly.
Cut each slice of toasted bread into 4 triangles.
Serve chicken mixture with 4 toast triangles; sprinkle with paprika.
