Ingredients

1 3/4 c. all purpose flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. blackberry jam
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients (except pecans).
When batter is smooth and sugar is dissolved, add pecans.
Bake in two 9x9 pans for 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
(I line the bottom of pans with wax paper and grease and flour sides.)
