Stuffed French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 (16 oz.) loaf French bread
    4 eggs
    1 c. whipped cream
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 (12 oz.) jar apricot preserves
    1/2 c. orange juice
Preparation
    Beat together cream cheese and 1 teaspoon vanilla until soft and fluffy.
    Stir in nuts; set aside.
    Cut bread into 10 to 12 (1 1/2-inch) slices.
    Cut pocket in top of each.
    Fill with 1 1/2 tablespoons cheese mixture.
    Beat together eggs, whipped cream, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and nutmeg.
    Dip bread slices into egg mixture. Cook until golden.
    Heat together orange juice and preserves; drizzle over toast when done.
