Beef-Filled Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium-large acorn squash
    2 slices bacon, diced
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 to 2 Tbsp. milk
    1/4 c. crushed potato chips
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of black pepper
Preparation
    Cut squash in half lengthwise; remove seeds.
    Bake, cut side down, in shallow pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until tender.
    Fry diced bacon.
    Add beef, onion, 1/2 teaspoon salt and dash of pepper.
    Cook until beef is browned.
    Pour off excess fat.
    Remove squash from shells (reserve shells).
    In small mixing bowl, whip squash with 1/2 teaspoon salt; add milk as needed to make mixture fluffy.
    Combine with beef mixture.
    Return to squash shells.
    Top with crushed potato chips.
    Continue baking at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings.
