Dilly Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pt. string bans
    1 tsp. red pepper
    4 cloves garlic
    4 heads dill or 1 tsp. dill seed
    2 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. salt
Preparation
    Cook green string beans until still firm.
    Pack in jars.
    To each pint jar, add 1/4 scant teaspoon red pepper, 1 clove garlic and 1 head dill or 1/4 teaspoon dill seed.
    Heat vinegar, water and salt.
    Bring to a boil.
    Pour into jars.
    Seal.
