String Bean Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can or 2 (16 oz.) cans French-style beans with pimiento
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 large onion, chopped
    4 strips bacon
Preparation
    Fry bacon crisp; crumble.
    Saute onion in bacon drippings. Drain beans; put in casserole.
    Dilute soup with 1/2 can hot water.
    Add onion to soup and simmer 2 minutes.
    Pour soup and onion mixture over beans in casserole.
    Sprinkle bacon bits on top.
    Cover and bake for about 25 minutes in oven at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 8.
