Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. self-rising meal
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 large eggs
1 large onion, chopped
2 tsp. sugar
dash of garlic powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
4 c. cooking oil, for deep frying

Preparation

In

bowl
mix
together\tmeal, flour, buttermilk, eggs, onion, sugar, garlic and paprika.\tBring 4 cups oil to a boil
in large
pot.
Drop\tby
teaspoonfuls
in hot oil until brown. Yield: 50 hush puppies.
