Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
    Add extracts.
    Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325\u00b0 (do not preheat oven) for 1 1/2 hours +.
