Mexican "Maze-In" Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/3 c. melted shortening
    1 c. sour cream
    1 (8 oz.) can creamed corn
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped, drained green chiles
Preparation
    Mix together the corn meal, salt and soda and blend.
    Stir in shortening, sour cream, corn and eggs and mix well.
    Add chiles and cheese; stir.
    Pour mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
