Velvety Chicken Pate - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 lb. chicken livers, halved
    1 yellow onion, chopped
    1 tart apple, chopped
    2 Tbsp. brandy
    2 Tbsp. whipping cream
    1/4 c. butter (room temperature)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In medium skillet, saute butter and chicken livers for 2 minutes.
    Add onion and apple and stir for 5 minutes until apple softens.
    Stir in brandy and cream.
    Transfer mixture to blender and blend 2 to 3 minutes or until smooth.
    Refrigerate this mixture for 1 hour.
