Corn Bread Taco Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 (1 1/8 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning
    1/2 c. water
    1 can whole kernel corn, drained
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix
    1 (2.8 oz.) can French fried onions
    1/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (1 oz.)
Preparation
    Brown and strain meat.
    Stir in next 5 ingredients.
    Pour into an 8 x 12-inch baking dish.
    Prepare corn muffin mix according to package directions except add 1/2 can onions.
    Spoon around outer edges of casserole.
    Bake, uncovered, at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Top corn bread with Cheddar cheese and remaining onions.
    Bake for 2 to 3 minutes.
