Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 1/4 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour and powder together in a bowl, set aside.
    Cream butter and shortening.
    Gradually add sugar while beating.
    Beat until light.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
    Beat until light and fluffy.
    Add vanilla and lemon, mix well.
    Add dry ingredients, alternately with milk.
    Mix well.
    Spoon batter into a greased tube pan.
    Place in cold oven.
    Turn on oven and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, or until done.
