Never Fail Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/2 c. sour milk
Preparation
    Put ingredients in bowl in order given.
    Mix well.
    Bake in a 9 x 9-inch pan at 350\u00b0.
