Beef, Potato Soup(Lucy'S Original) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    leftover beef stew and broth
    4 potatoes, cubed
    2 carrots, chunked
    1 onion, chunked
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 qt. can tomatoes
    red pepper (optional)
    1 qt. water
    1/2 (3 oz.) pkg. Oriental noodles (beef flavor)
    1 can mixed vegetables
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a Dutch oven kettle.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes and carrots are tender, then simmer some more.
    Delicious served with corn bread.
