Fish Cakes Oven Baked Or Fried - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked fish
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. bacon fat
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    3 c. mashed potatoes
    1 Tbsp. catsup (optional)
    1 1/2 c. dried bread crumbs
Preparation
    Separate fish into small flakes.
    Cook onion in fat or oil until limp.
    Combine eggs, mashed potatoes, catsup and salt with fish and onion in a bowl.
    Portion mixture into cakes and roll in bread crumbs.
    Space in single layer on well oiled shallow pan and bake 8 to 10 minutes.
    If frying, use bacon fat until brown on both sides.
