Creamy Hash Browns - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. bacon drippings or butter
6 c. diced raw potatoes
1 medium size onion, chopped (1/2 c.)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 small can evaporated milk
Preparation

Melt drippings or butter in large frying pan; stir in potatoes, onion, salt and pepper.
Cover; cook over low heat 10 minutes.
Uncover; stir from bottom of pan, then saute over low heat, turning often for 15 minutes.
Pour evaporated milk over heat, stirring gently 1 to 2 minutes longer.
Serves 6.
