Ingredients

1 c. butter
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Beat butter, cream cheese, sugar, salt and vanilla until fluffy.
Add egg and milk; mix well.
Gradually add flour.
Stir in walnuts.
Drop by teaspoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Yields 5 dozen.
