Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. light or dark corn syrup
3 egg whites
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients.
Stir in corn syrup and egg whites until thoroughly blended.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls, 1-inch apart, onto nonstick cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes just until set and soft.
Do not overbake.
Cool on wire rack.
