Venison Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 medium potatoes, quartered
    3 to 4 carrots
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 (3 to 5 lb.) venison (deer) roast
Preparation
    Boil potatoes and carrots in 2 cups water until tender. Remove the potatoes and carrots from the cooking liquid.
    Let the liquid cool.
    In a 2-cup measuring cup, combine the onion soup mix and vinegar with the liquid reserved from the carrots and potatoes.
    Add enough water to equal 2 cups.
    Put roast in roasting pan and pour onion soup mixture over roast.
    Place in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven and bake 3 hours.
