Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box chocolate cake mix (for variety try a white cake mix)
    20 to 24 Kraft caramels (not more!)
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    chocolate frosting
    chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix cake as directed on box.
    Pour half of batter in 9 x 13-inch cake pan and bake 18 minutes.
    While this is baking, combine the caramels and Eagle Brand milk in saucepan and melt over low heat, stirring continuously.
    As soon as the 18 minutes are up, take cake out of the oven and pour the caramel sauce over it.
    Pour rest of cake batter over caramel sauce and bake for 20 minutes or until top layer of cake is done.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
