Bisquick Strawberry Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pt. strawberries, sliced
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 1/3 c. Bisquick original baking mix
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
    1/2 c. milk
    3/4 c. whipping cream (heavy)
Preparation
    Sprinkle strawberries with 2/3 cup sugar; let stand 1 hour. Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Mix baking mix, 3 tablespoons sugar, margarine and milk until soft dough forms.
    Drop dough into 6 mounds onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 11 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
    Beat whipping cream in chilled bowl until stiff.
    Split shortcakes; fill and top with strawberries.
    Top with whipped cream.
    Makes 6 servings.
