Green Chile And Cheese Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 large pods green chiles (1 or 2 cans)
    5 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. cracker crumbs
    4 eggs
    2 c. milk (half and half)
    1 lb. (3 c.) grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Place alternate layers of chiles and cheese in greased casserole.
    Leave cheese to sprinkle on top.
    Beat eggs, milk and salt.
    Pour over chiles and cheese in slow oven.
    Makes a large casserole.
