Batter-Dipped Hot Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. self-rising white corn meal mix
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp. oil
8 to 10 frankfurters

Preparation

Combine corn meal mix and pepper.
Add milk, egg and oil; mix well.
Insert wooden skewer in one end of each frank.
Coat with additional flour.
Dip into corn meal batter.
