Beef-Rice Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
    2 tsp. snipped parsley
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 (8 oz.) can whole tomatoes
    1 1/2 c. uncooked instant rice
Preparation
    Cook and stir ground beef in 10-inch skillet until light brown; drain.
    Sprinkle beef with flour and salt.
    Stir in green pepper, onion and parsley; cook and stir over low heat until onion is tender, about 5 minutes.
    Stir water and tomatoes (with liquid) into beef mixture.
    Break up tomatoes with fork.
    Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and let stand 5 minutes.
    Yields 4 servings.
