Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 3 1/2 lb.) chicken
    1 small onion
    salt to taste
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
    1/2 lb. grated cheese
    1 can cream of mushroom or celery soup
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Place chicken and onion
    in saucepan.
    Cover with water and add salt.
    Cook slowly
    until
    tender.
    Remove chicken and onion. Put noodles in broth
    and cook until tender as package directs. Debone chicken and add to drained noodles along with cheese and soup.
    Place in
    casserole.
    Mix
    melted butter and bread crumbs. Sprinkle on top
    of
    mixture.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Yield:
    6 to 8 servings.
